Crissy has deep roots in Abilene; dating back to her great grandparents; Hardwick Road is named after her great grandfather Clayton Hardwick and her grandfather Leonard Ward was a small business owner in Abilene for over 50 years. Crissy has family stretching all across The Big Country, her brother and parents both still reside in Abilene and her parents are also local business owners.
Crissy graduated from Wylie High School in 1995 and Hardin-Simmons University in 2000. She has worked in non-profit marketing, in church ministry and as a teacher, while living in Alabama and Georgia. She returned to her home town of Abilene in 2017 to take a position in Admissions with Hardin-Simmons University. Crissy is excited to be back in Abilene and invest in the city she loves. She is an active member of Zion Lutheran Church as well as the Professional Women in Builders Association of Abilene, where she is on the board of directors and will serve as the Treasurer for 2018. She loves Abilene and can’t wait to watch it grow and flourish.
